Welcome to the People of African Descent (PAD) website of Metropolitan Community Churcheswww.MCCchurch.org. I am excited to share with you this website and its many resources. The publishing of this site is in response to the need that has been expressed to me over the years by people of African descent in MCC to stay connected with one another between MCC conference gatherings.

It is our hope that you will visit this site often. Each time you visit, you will find something new that will allow you to feel connected to the greater MCC PAD community. We hope to make this website a place of community connections through the sharing of our stories, perspectives, faith, music and lives.

We, the People of African Descent are integral to all that is in the World.

We, the People of African Descent, are the linguist of the world, conversing in languages as varied as Swahili, Portuguese, Hebrew, Spanish, English, Cherokee, French, German, Togala, Arabic, Yoruba, Afrikaans, Creole, Zulu, and many others.

We, the People of African Descent, are the children of those who chose to survive.

Let us honor the ancestors and not only survive, but prosper and thrive!
